Misión Cristiana Vida Abundante
(Temple of Faith)

Pastor Francisco Guardado and three other members of his congregation took the counseling certification course and were certified as Faith Based Counselors in April of 2006. "Their motivation is a dream  to help others, said pastor Juan Perez of NewLife. "Pastor Guardado's heart is to reach those people who hurt and are suffering. "The need is huge, and we want to do our part," said Pastor Guardado.

Misión Cristiana Vida Abundante through those individuals who were certified are starting a strong effort to provide counseling services to those who need it in Irving, Texas.

Pastor Guardado, who is also certified by The Therapon Institute, has several  years of experience in counseling. His desire is to train and certify more of his congregational members in counseling, so that their outreach to the people of Irving can be as large as possible. They want to offer the counseling service to those in the church, as well as to the public at large, says Pastor Guardado.

Included in the number of persons who were certified was the pastor's wife. Fidelina Guardado decided to be trained and certified so that she could be a helper to her husband and a good servant to the Lord. Her desire as well is to reach those who suffer, especially in the area of marraiges.

Located in the heart of Irving, Texas, Misión Cristiana Vida Abundante is a fairly new ministry, but strongly dedicated to the calling of God for them to reach the lost for the Lord. If you are looking for a church in that area, please contact Pastor Guardado at 972-313-2220.

Two other persons also were trained and certified. They were: Maria M. González, a member of the church, and Claudia Guardado Reyes, the daughter of the pastor and his wife.

"We at NewLife Cristian Counseling Ministry are very content being associated with this congregation," said pastor Juan. The next step is to work with them to create and establish their team and ministryin their local church. George Perez, NCCM counselor and instructor, will continue to work with them until the team is in place and functioning effectively.

Note as of August 2006: The church has changed their name to Temple of Faith, and they vreated a website. You can visit them at: www.tfusa.org.
